Takes a long peek behind the imposing facade of Insex.com, the most notorious of bondage websites, to explore the dark mind of its artistic creator, known as "PD," and ask hard questions about consent and personal responsibility. Incorporating original Insex.com footage, behind-the-scenes interactions and interviews with its creator, members, models and staff, the documentary reveals deep fascinations with bondage and sadomasochism that run parallel and, in fact, can become irreversibly entwined with the lure of money.

BEST GENRE DOCUMENTARY

Barbara Bell and Anna Lorentzon’s Graphic Sexual Horror (Synapse Films) –
There were some great genre docs out this year but GSH grabbed me and
shook me to my core. The beauty and horror of the often maligned S&M
underworld was captured by Bell and Lorentzon.
